Celtic Christianity, Stone Circles & the Western Mysteries
A week of shared exploration in the extraordinary landscapes of southwest Ireland: early Celtic Christian sites, stone circles, holy places, mountains and Atlantic coasts, with a journey to Skellig Michael as one of the great highlights.
Our focus will be the world of Celtic Christianity and the Western Mysteries: its relationship to landscape, pilgrimage, solitude, community and the older spiritual traditions of the land. Alongside historical and archaeological exploration, we will work with observation, conversation and phenomenological approaches to place.
We will be based at Fossa Caravan & Camping Park near Killarney, ideally placed for excursions across Kerry and beyond. The week runs Saturday to Saturday, giving us six full days of exploration together between arrival and departure.

Ticket includes: the full guided week, teaching and organisation, shared camp facilities, basic shared food, essential advance bookings, and the planned Skellig Michael boat/landing excursion. Not included: accommodation (unless booking the bell-tent package), travel to/from the campsite, shared car costs during the week, meals or drinks bought while out, and personal expenses.
